Garcia and Associates (GANDA) is seeking an entry to mid-level Wildlife Biologists to support a variety of projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and California.  Responsibilities will include conducting field surveys, reporting, and biological monitoring.  Experience with nesting birds is very desirable.  The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field; excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills; strong knowledge of California flora and fauna; strong knowledge of environmental regulations (Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, Migratory Bird Treaty Act, CEQA and NEPA); knowledge of state and federal survey protocols for special status species; and strong enthusiasm for natural resource conservation and planning.  The position may involve working independently and with teams of biologists, planners and construction personnel.  The position will required overnight travel throughout California.
